About the Red Crescent Clinic
Nestled next to the Islamic Society of Tampa Bay, the clinic has been serving the Tampa community since 2000.  The Red Crescent clinic's medical director, Dr. Maqsood Siddique is a well regarded local cardiologist. Another founding staff member, Dr. Hussein Saba, is a renowned hematologist.  All our services are provided free of charge, but we welcome donations to help defray costs.

The clinic is a registered non-profit, 501(c) entity governed by a board of directors.  It also qualifies under the volunteer health care provider program of the State of Florida and is covered under its liability provisions.

All physician services performed in the clinic are provided free of charge by volunteer physicians and staff.  Other services provided by third parties such as laboratory tests performed by BayCare are provided at or below cost for our patients.
